SEM Specialist

The SEM Specialist will plan, implement, and assist in managing our paid campaigns across Google and Microsoft Ads or other relevant paid media platforms. This role is pivotal in driving online visibility, customer acquisition, and ROI for our builder partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, an understanding of SEM platforms, and be proactive and driven in growing their skillset alongside client campaigns.
Campaign Management
The Account Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day management and communication on multiple home builder accounts with the end goal of driving project efficiencies while maintaining the highest level of customer service. This is a support role in a fast-paced environment with direct client interaction via video calls, phone calls, and email. We are looking for a go-getter with a great personality, professionalism, and follow-through.
- Responsible for maintaining data measurements and results at or above the set G2 industry benchmark standards.
- Develop, execute, and optimize paid campaigns on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads to meet client objectives.
- Conduct keyword research, selection, and optimization to ensure effective targeting.
- Create and test ad copy and other assets to improve CTR and conversion rates.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven optimizations to maximize ROI.
- Manage and allocate budgets effectively, ensuring maximum efficiency and results.
- Recommend new budget allocations or campaign budgets to increase advertising capabilities.

Reporting & Analytics
- Utilize Google Analytics and other tools to track, report, and analyze website and campaign performance.
- Generate regular performance reports for all stakeholders, highlighting key insights and strategic recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEM and analytics.
Continuous Improvement
- Keep up-to-date on the latest developments in search engine algorithms, ad platforms, and industry trends.
- Test and implement new SEM strategies or campaigns to improve account performance.
- Conduct A/B testing to refine ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, and more.
Training & Support
- Support junior team members in the direction of daily/weekly/monthly account work to maintain industry benchmark standards.
- Continue to improve personal skill set through training and certifications offered by Google and Microsoft.
- Stay up-to-date on digital advertising trends and share best practice changes with the greater Digital Team.
- Prepare information or presentations to showcase knowledge gains, transfer new ideas, or educate team members from other departments.
- Work with Senior SEM team members to build strategic thought and planning skillsets.
- Ensure strong cross-team communication, especially with Account Services, to build on or enhance all marketing efforts for any given client.
