The Situation

The Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) is a national trade organization representing all segments of the factory-built housing industry. MHI’s mission is B2B education on how manufactured (aka pre-fab/pre-fabricated) homes can be an easy and profitable solution to housing needs. CrossMod, a new higher-end product, is their newest initiative.

The Ask

Showcase the new CrossMod product that MHI wants to introduce to builders and land developers across the country. 
Help B2B CrossMod builders upgrade their current platforms to a newly evolved design aesthetic that flips the script of what modular homes are thought to be.

The Answer

An identity package built around the idea of modularity. We chose bright colors indicative of their current palette, but more youthful. The patterns and textures help tell the story of modularity in a modern form. We used the same font family as their current brand.

The mini website dedicated to the CrossMod product is designed to feel clean and premium, contradicting the stigma that modular/manufactured homes are seen as dated, cheap, or ugly.
