The IBS 2026 Recap

Here at g2, the International Builders’ Show is one of the highlights of every year. We love having the opportunity to learn new things, network with our industry partners, and spend time with our builder partners.
IBS 2026 was a very busy week. Our team was everywhere – making site visits with our Orlando builders, manning the She Built Foundation booth, and presenting sessions on strategic marketing and social media!
Here’s the rundown:
In addition to giving talks about the She Built Foundation, Mollie presented a Game Changers session with award-winning songwriter Lee Thomas Miller. “Storytelling, Authenticity, and Building Brand Trust” introduced how storytelling and building trust are the heart of successful marketing. They discussed the importance of words and emotions in authentic storytelling and driving purchasing decisions.
Nikki’s education session presentation, “Swipe, Scroll, Sell: Making Social Media Your Best Sales Center”, covered how social media and online are becoming the first touchpoint in the sales process. She discussed how to bring a model’s home sales experience online, and also addressed common questions such as “How is a social media post going to sell a house?” and “If someone only experienced our brand through social media… would they want to buy?”. Nikki offered concrete ideas for creating scroll-stopping content to reach people where they are in their sales journey.
In their Builder 20 presentation, “From Dirt To Done: Strategic Marketing For Every Building Stage”, Mollie and Alexis talked about strategic marketing at all stages of a community life cycle. They discussed specific promotional channels (merch/swag, signage, sales office, events, landing page, flyers, website promo banner, mailer, emails, digital ads, social media) that help communities sell out.
And last but definitely not least, g2 put our dedication to the future of homebuilding at the forefront of our week at IBS. Our team members manned the She Built Foundation booth every day, led masterfully by OUR next generation! The kids ran the show and perfectly conveyed our passion and commitment to the industry.
